I agree with you that we are at another "Tower of Babel" moment. The desire of people to change their gender or identify in various ways is nothing more than rebellion against God. Whether they realize it or not, they are acting as their own god. I'm glad I'm safe with Jesus and I pray many more will turn to Him.

Great comment, Anne! Yes, I think the transgender movement is partially being emphasized by big power players/monied interests to condition people for a "genderless" society and usher in transhumanism. Transhumanism and AI will usher in "The Mark of the Beast." Atleast that is where I think this is heading. We already saw them pushing vaccine passports to travel and participate in society. In my opinion, that was just a test run. Soon we are probably looking at a cashless society with digital ID's and CBDC's. People need to wake up, but they seem to be wandering aimlessly and living in denial.

You are spot on about the trans agenda being pushed by Fink and Bloomberg in the form of the ESG agenda commanded from the top on down in these corporations.

Thank you SadieJay. Yes, the ESG agenda is also diabolical.

The photo is beautiful and the essay is quite powerful and thought-provoking as well. I bet everyone in history has thought they were living through "historic" or pivotal times ... so we're no different than our ancestors ... but I am starting to think what we are living through is the real deal.

It is a fight of good vs. evil. We should love our neighbors and forgive those who trespass against us ... but we also need to realize that the people (and organizations) we are up against don't fight fair ... and they have a definite agenda that they are determined to implement ... and have already started to implement.

I totally agree, Bill. Insightful response! Thank you for taking the time to read my post. I always learn a great deal from your posts. I appreciate you! We're certainly in this together. I love the Substack community.

Back at you, Blair. It will be interesting to see if Substack plays a key role in "changing the narratives." It's certainly been an oasis of free speech. I've got some thoughts on the "viability" of Substack that I might write about on Substack in the future.

Thanks Bill! Yes, my hope is that Substack "plays a key role in changing the narratives." The Internet was supposed to be "an oasis of freedom of speech," but that no longer is the case. Substack is a place where people can freely and openly express themselves. I hope itp's here to stay.

The key - that not enough people are talking about yet IMO - is whether these real "truth-seeking" "citizen journalists" on Substacker are going to make enough money to continue their work. For all the 35 million-plus people who have now "subscribed" to Substack only a tiny percentage of these subscribers are "paid." And those paid subscriptions are spread thin among X number of Substackers. I think we might end up with Substackers who are only independently wealthy (or have a spouse that can support them) and don't require any income from their labors. That's fine with those in this group but not for those us us who do need to clear $40K or so a year to keep doing this. And, whether people know it or not, this work is vitally important ... because the mainstream media isn't going to write about these taboo topics.

These are all great points. I absolutely agree. I do wonder about the long-term viability in regards to independent writers making a sustainable living using Substack. I would welcome it with open arms, but am also realistic about it all. Right now, I just want to get my voice out there and be heard. Hopefully, I can add something to the conversation. I will look forward to learning more from you Bill. I love your work!

This is a good collection of thoughts, thank you for writing them down. Ever since the first industrial revolution, we as a species have slowly forgotten the admonitions of our ancestors. The tower of Babel is such a strong and clear lession about the dangers of playing God that even an atheist could easilyfind the message behind the story. But people don't want to listen, they want the shiny toys and irresponsible pleasures offered by Moloch and Mammon.

It's depressing, but remember: This too shall pass. The tower will fall. God will remain.

This is a very insightful comment. Thank you for your kind words. I agree that most people choose the path of pleasure. For most of my life, I was that person. Temptation will always be there. I do know that "the shiny toys and irresponsible pleasures" will never truly fill the void in human hearts. If they did, we would have many joyful and content people in society, but they are rare and hard to find. Billionaires always want more money, influence and power. They can never get enough to fill the void. The Biblical book of Ecclesiastes tells the story real well.

I saw your comment on C&C and followed your link. You are a deep thinker for sure and express your thoughts very well.

You know, if you can hum or sing your songs and record it digitally, I’m sure there are software programs that could “write” the music for you. No brain implant necessary!

Agreed. And, another little fun fact about the verses on the mark of the beast. In the KJV, which is as close to the original translation you can get in the English language...it doesn't say "on the right hand or the forehead" it says "IN their right hand or IN their forehead." It is the only translation that says that. It is what I am going with...Best to you.

"And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:" Rev 13:16
